- What can we say about Linda and Steve, they started sailing many years ago in Cranbrook, moved to White Rock and joined a sailing co-op. Linda worked her way up to be a supervisor for the Ministry of Social Work and Steve, well you know he bummed around and did a few house renovations. They bought there first boat a Columbia 36, 2 days before 9/11 in Seattle, did a little work on it, did a little racing with a great bunch of friends. One day Linda said I think we should buy a bigger boat, I was all ears and then asked what are we going to do with a bigger boat. Linda, well she though for a miniute and then she said, I think we need to go for a little sail around the Pacific. An idea was formed!!!

Lucas and I has a great visit with Steve and Linda!!! What a wonderful experience for a 3 yr old and me too. It was really tempting to stay longer and adventure more but alas Lucas was missing Daddy so we had to return home, but we are really looking forward to our next visit. Hi Mom and Dad/Grandma and Grandpa - we are just back from our trip to the east coast and loved it! We are already to start planning our next trip once you tell us where you will be next winter. Lucas has a wonderful time in Mexico and his spanish is coming along nicely. He should make a good deck hand before long. Love you lots - Les and Zoe
